Editorial Board Member's Profile

Dr Jeuti Barooah is a former Director of the Law Research Institute, Gauhati High Court, Guwahati. Dr Barooah also served as a Professor in the Central University of Jharkhand, as a Consultant at UNICEF (Assam) and as Associate Editor, Assamese Encyclopedia, Publication Board, Assam. She undertook various projects on customary laws, child rights, women issues etc. During her tenure in the Law Research Institute, 65 books were published on various topics in the field of Law and Social Science. She penned more than five books in Assamese and English literature.
